12 - Day itinerary

Day 1 Wednesday:
Istanbul
Welcome to Istanbul, where you will be
met at the airport and transferred to
your hotel. The remainder of the day is
yours, free to explore. Overnight in
Istanbul
Day 2 Thursday:
Istanbul Old City
Tour the exotic city that spans both
Europe and Asia visiting the Blue
Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace,
The Underground Cistern and the
Hippodrome. Welcome dinner tonight.
Overnight in Istanbul. Breakfast and
Dinner
Day 3 Friday:
Istanbul, Ankara, Cappadocia
After breakfast, drive to the nation's
capital, Ankara, visiting the Ancient
Civilization's Museum and the Mausoleum
of Turkey's first President, Ataturk.
With Ankara behind us, we head for the
surreal moonscape of Cappadocia.
Overnight Cappadocia. Breakfast and
Dinner
Day 4 Saturday:
Cappadocia
Today we tour the Goreme open-air
museum, Pasabag and Uchisar castle.
Photo opportunities are everywhere so
have your cameras ready! Tonight, don't
miss the optional Turkish folklore
evening featuring folklore and belly
dancers... a night you won't forget!

Dinner
Day 5 Sunday:
Cappadocia
Today we visit the beautiful Ilhara
Valley and the fascinating Derinkuyu
underground city, home to early
Christians who hid underground from
Roman persecution. Overnight Cappadocia.
Breakfast and Dinner
Day 6 Monday:
Cappadocia, Konya, Pamukkale
Leaving Cappadocia we head south along
an ancient Silk Road for the stunning
Mediterranean Coast. Along the way you
see a Caravansary in Sultanhani. At
Turkey's religious capital Konya, we
tour the Mevlana Whirling Dervish
Museum. Then drive to Pamukkale through
Egirdir. Arrival to Pamukkale late in
the afternoon. Overnight in Pamukkale.
Breakfast and Dinner
Day 7 Tuesday:
Pamukkale, Aphrodisias, Kusadasi
Visit the ruins of Hierapolis, the
Temple of Apollo, Theatre and
Necropolis. Tour the magnificent white
calcium terraces of Pamukkale. Drive to
Aphrodisias, city of Aphrodite, famous
with stadium, theatre and Agora. Arrival
to Kusadasi, late in the afternoon.
Overnight Kusadasi. Breakfast and Dinner
Day 8 Wednesday:
Kusadasi, Ephesus
Absorb yourself in History today with a
guided tour of Ephesus. Feel the
mystical atmosphere of the city and
stadium, where chariot and horse races
were once held. Visit the Temple of
Artemis and Isa Bey Mosque. Overnight
Kusadasi Breakfast and Dinner
Day 9 Thursday:
Kusadasi, Pergamum, Troy, Canakkale
Drive along the Aegean coast to ancient
Pergamum, we tour the magnificent
Acropolis of Pergamum. Its impressive
temples, library and medical facilities
made Pergamum a renowned cultural and
political centre in its time. Drive to
Troy, and tour of this legendary city.
Overnight Canakkale. Breakfast and
Dinner
Day 10 Friday:
Canakkale, Gallipoli, Istanbul
After Breakfast, we visit the WWI
Battlefields of Gallipoli including Lone
Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, Anzac
Cove, the Nek, Johnston's Jolly and
Kabatepe Gallipoli Museum before driving
to Istanbul Overnight Istanbul.

Day 11 Saturday:
Istanbul
This morning enjoy a cruise along the
Bosphorus, the body of water that
separates Asia and Europe. Afternoon
free. Overnight Istanbul. Breakfast
Day 12 Sunday:
Istanbul
After breakfast, our tour concludes and
we say good bye to our new friends.
